Vivienne Westwood FALL 2024 Ready-To-Wear

The in-house team leading Vivienne Westwood’s label draws extensively from her archive, constantly referencing and reinterpreting her past work. The fall collection was inspired by Johann Wolfgang von Goethe’s 1774 novel,
“The Sorrows of Young Werther.” Westwood herself referenced this novel, noting its significant impact on the Romantic movement. Napoleon’s admiration for “Werther,” revealed through his multiple readings and meeting with Goethe in 1808, further highlights the book’s cultural influence.
