The collection expands Owens’ dark aesthetic, featuring inflated silhouettes that delicately complement the female form. Contrasting his menswear, Owens accentuates natural curves with ribbed knitwear and knotted accessories, evoking a sense of protective armor.
Owens reminisces about a strict childhood devoid of television, replaced by opera and Edgar Rice Burroughs’ novels. These influences manifest as otherworldly interpretations of heroes and villains in his designs.
The intergalactic collection embodies courage, envisioning tomorrow’s champions with strong-shouldered tops, hooded capes, and distinctive footwear. Flared skirts paired with fuzzy cloaks evoke readiness against imagined monsters, while signature cropped bombers serve as defensive spheres. Collarless blazers and floor-length hoodies complete the range with sculptural expertise.
